The enquiry form collects your name, email address, selected area of interest and message. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and discuss the products or services you request. Please do not submit sensitive information.

How enquiries reach us

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. FormSubmit processes form submissions and sends them to our email inbox; its CAPTCHA may process technical information for spam prevention. FormSubmit states that it retains submissions for 30 days. Your submission is shared with these service providers to deliver and protect the service.

Use and retention

We use enquiry information to take steps you request before entering a contract, or for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries. We do not use an enquiry as permission to add you to marketing lists. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the enquiry, associated business and applicable record-keeping obligations, and review it for deletion when no longer needed.

SmartEstimate records and subscriptions

SmartEstimate is a cloud-based application with five named users per subscription. User account details and company records, including estimates and invoices, are processed centrally to provide shared access through the service. They are not stored solely on customers’ computers. Besteld also handles contact details, purchase correspondence and renewal reminders to administer subscriptions and customer relationships. For company personal data processed on customers’ instructions, the relevant data-processing terms must explain the parties’ roles and obligations. Hosting providers and locations, subprocessors, administrative access, retention, backup, deletion and international-transfer arrangements must be confirmed in the service privacy information before customers upload personal data. This draft does not claim that Besteld cannot access hosted data.
